For National Fair Housing Month and National Community Development Week, the ACCGov Housing & Community Development Department (HCD) will host a series of events to connect residents with knowledge and resources.

The Athens-Clarke County Municipal Court Judge and Administrative Hearing Officer, Marcy Jolles, will conclude her service on March 28th.

Tuesday night, the Athens-Clarke County Commission will revisit a resolution on addressing inequities faced by Black and minority Athenians that caused friction in January.

The area is one of six special tax allocation districts, or TADs - a strategic redevelopment tool designed to accelerate growth in areas that haven't kept pace with the rest of the community.
