The Athens-Clarke County Mayor and Commission approved a series of funding, zoning, and policy measures during its April 7th regular session, including a controversial industrial rezoning request and multiple infrastructure investments.

The Athens-Clarke County Commission decided to hold off on a vote for the plan that will guide how the city grows over the next several decades.
