In it's 7th year, Porchfest was bigger than ever! 260 bands played across 7 historic neighborhoods throughout Athens for Porchfest 2025.

While many seasoned musicians performed on porches all across Athens, it’s clear that growing up in this musical city is inspiring younger talent to take the stage as well.

Historic Athens Porchfest will return for its sixth year this weekend, bringing crowds to the front stoops of seven of the Classic City's historic neighborhoods. While some bands are regulars at the free music festival, others are brand new.

Longtime Athenians may remember the Vision Video store that closed in 2017. Though DVD rentals have been replaced by on-demand streaming, a local band going by the same name revives niche Athens nostalgia, along with a goth rock sound.
