SEC Issues Guidelines for 2020 Season

The SEC announced new social distancing guidelines for the 2020 season.

With the college football season fast approaching, the South Eastern Conference announced on Tuesday their guidelines for social distancing.

These guidelines include limited stadium capacity as dictated by each University, and mandatory face coverings over the mouth and nose while moving around the stadium, and while in close proximity to someone not in your own household.

Speaking to WUGA last week, Joe Van Hoose of Beyond the Trestle explained,

“The SEC and also the ACC and Big 12, they keep pressing on. I have to expect that in the end those three conferences, SEC included, are going to reach the same conclusion that the Big 10 and the Pac-12 did.”

On Wednesday, UGA announced that they would be limiting fan attendance to just 20-25% of their usual capacity.

Tickets for the four UGA home games also went on sale Wednesday morning.
