Fresh off a commanding election victory, Governor Brian Kemp campaigned with Senate candidate Herschel Walker for the first time this cycle.

Speaking at an event in Smyrna Saturday, Kemp said Republicans could not rest on their laurels ahead of the runoff.

"He will go and fight for those values that we believe in here in our state, and that's why it's time to retire Raphael Warnock and send Herschel Walker to the United States Senate," Kemp told a crowd of Walker supporters.

Walker faces a difficult road to unseating Warnock in the runoff, after roughly one in 10 Republicans that supported Kemp did not vote for Walker.

Election Day is December 6.
