A joint rally for Democrats Jon Ossoff and Keisha Lance Bottoms in Atlanta on Sunday presented the pair as a team.

Ossoff and Bottoms each spoke and expressed support for one another. According to the Associated Press, their advisors described it as the first of many joint rallies as the candidates look toward Election Day in November.

“As your next governor, I look forward to working with Jon to deliver for people across Georgia,” Bottoms said.

Bottoms also talked about policies she plans to implement if elected, including expanding Medicaid and lowering housing costs.

Bottoms will run against Burt Jones or Rick Jackson for governor. Ossoff will run against Mike Collins or Derek Dooley for US Senate. The Republican nominees will be determined by runoffs on June 16.
