This episode is the third of our four scheduled African music specials as part of the twenty-sixth anniversary celebration of the show. The episode features a diverse selection of African music in celebration of the two UGA teams of Champions: the 2022 SEC East Football Champions and the Best Delegation Overall Award team at the 2022 Southeast Model African Union simulation at Albany State University. The UGA SEMAU team which represented Kenya included three individual leadership in committee award winners: Okikioluwa Olusanu, Phillip Quinn, and Meteo Aguiar. The episode recognizes the performance of the five African representatives at Qatar 2022. The episode also repeats the announcement of our anniversary plans which includes invitation to listeners to share their anniversary feedback messages and gifts of music. The three questions to which listeners can react before the December 4 revelation of selected feedbacks were also shared. As always, the episode featured selected enjoyable music from Africa and/or by Africans including selections from two wonderful collections: Afrobeat Hot Hits, and Ellipsis Africa Never Stand Still.
