Athens Film Festival

Athens-native and film director Aaron Strand released his feature Withdrawal last year. The film won Best Narrative Feature at the Athens Film Festival last year and was played at festivals across the country.

The 2nd annual Athens Film Festival ended Sunday. Over the weekend,filmmakers and film enthusiasts came to Athens' local theatres to enjoy screenings of indie projects, including short films and animations.

The Athens Film Festival will come back for its second year from Thursday, August 15th to Sunday, August 18th, and It promises a packed lineup.
