Vehicular Homicide

After requesting help from the Athens community, the ACCPD has been able to identify the victim of last week’s fatal crash.

The Athens Clark County Police Department is seeking help from the community to identify the victim involved in a fatal traffic accident at the intersection of US Highway 29 and Highway 17.

Investigators say Hamilton Foster was struck by a Ford F-150 heading in the same direction about 4 p.m. Friday.

The man is accused of killing a UGA student in a DUI-related accident back in February of 2023.
